He may not have as many suits as Iron Man, but Captain America has gone through plenty of outfits during his time onscreen; seven to be precise, with the eighth and ninth iterations making their debut in Captain America: Civil War. With five films under his belt and Civil War quickly approaching release, Chris Evans was quizzed on what suit has been his favourite.
"I like the stealth suit from Cap 2. The dark, navy blue suit from the opening of Winter Soldier when I’m on the Lemurian Star, messing people up on that ship. And in the elevator! That’s my favorite. I have requested it every movie, but the people at Marvel really like a little red. They like a little red in there. Which is fine. It’s Cap; I get it."
The stealth suit from The Winter Soldier was also very well-received by fans, who praised its reference to Steve's costume in Ed Brubaker and Mike Deodato's "Secret Avengers". An iteration of Cap's "dragon scale" armour is also set to make an appearance in Civil War, glimpsed through several promotional materials. What is your favourite Captain America suit?
