Revenge! Carl is kept prisoner by Negan, and Rick finds out that the only way to get him back is to face the task directly. But with Negan so unpredictable, is there any hope that things will go smoothly? And how will Carl fare given that Negan always believes in punishing those who are disobedient?

Props to Kirkman on this story arc. Every scene with Negan and Carl is so damn tense I need heart medication afterwards. Plus you can't completely hate Negan, but at the same time he's contemptable beyond reproach. There's a hint of Denzel in Training Day going on there. Seriously one of the best comics out there today.

Can someone be "contemptable beyond reproach?" Whatever, I said it, I stick with it.

Carl not only loses his eye, he gets like half of his face shot off. Happens near the end of Volume 14 if you're getting the smaller graphic novels, so that's what? WD #84? I just finished Volume 14, that's how I know. About to start 15 and then I need to get more!!
