When we learned that Jim Gordon was set to take over from Bruce Wayne as Batman following his "death", it sounded like a pretty bizarre idea. However, we should have all known better than to doubt Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, and Batman #41 made for an interesting debut for Gotham City's new Dark Knight. His robotic costume is very cool, but the official blueprints below offer up a more detailed look at exactly what it's capable of. Would you like to see this on the big screen?

Looks like a mech rabbit. I wish they would just get back to basics with Supes and Bats, the new DC world is total crap fest.

I didn't like the look at first, but it's really growing on me. Besides it isn't all about the new suit it's about the story. And the story is fantastic! Snyder and Capullo's Batman run is right up there with the greats.

All the problems people have were, for the majority, butt of the jokes with nice humor. Superb issue filled with innovation and organically refreshing, very intrigued by where they're taking the series especially after the last page.

If you haven't read the issue, don't whine and bitch. 41 was great. I have no problem with this.

This.... is really the Batman story I've always wanted to see. A story where we see Batman's tech being used with the police. While it's not Batman's exact tech, it is tech Batman uses that the police are using which I've always wanted to see.

Bruce has so much money and we never saw him give any to the police. This is what I've what to see happen.

Gordon as Batman is awesome also. Makes more [frick]ing sense than having Doc Ock as Spider-Man.

Relative of Derek Powers. Don't think he's born yet or he's a baby.

You people disappoint me...I'd bet a majority of you didn't even read #41, both of Batman and Detective Comics. Don't bitch unless you've read. How can you rightfully criticize a storyline when you've likely just seen recent images of Gordon's Batsuit here on CBM?

Seriously??? Giving credit for a storyline that's so TIRED I can't believe I have to state the obvious!

HOW MANY TIMES has someone replaced Bruce Wayne as Batman because he "died" or was too injured to continue his mission against crime?? Seems to me just about everyone's tried to take over for Bruce just for him to come back because nothing beats the original. Worse yet, we get old man Gordon in a goofy robotic suit as the new Batman..... The furthest image of what "strikes fear into the hearts of criminals" I've ever seen in the BATMAN books. I think if Bob Kane were alive, he'd probably be pretty pissed off at such a stupid, tired storyline that's so far removed from his original concept.

Doubt Scott Snyder? After the "Court Of Owls", I think he pretty much gassed out.

Batlabor. I'm sure someone has said it before now, but I just thought that up and am feeling quite pleased with myself.

Anyway, I hate pretty much all of this, concept and execution.
