Scott's blasts are concussive NOT laser. It can be directed and curved not but it has no heat. As for Wolverine, he isn't actually ever going away for even a little bit is he? Now he is gonna be everywhere but this time shiny. Ugh

Is it just me or is Spiderwoman even more popular now because of that controversial cover?

They're waiting in line to see Star Wars. The "Welcome Home" is in reference to Marvel publishing Star Wars comics again after having lost the rights to Dark Horse decades ago.

Who's the Warlock from Destiny with Kitty and Star Lord?

Something interesting are the ants in the various covers. In the one with Ant-Man, the ants look like they are military marching in a liberation parade like the USA did in Paris:

Or the Ant-Man variant is eerily similar to Hitler saluting the Nazis as they parade by him. Even the arm outstretched with the other hand near the stomach/hip area, and the ants attacking later seems like a metaphor.

Then there's the whole Age of Ultron stuff in the background.

Perhaps Nova (Rich Rider) was liberated from the Cancerverse? Or perhaps Steve Rogers becomes young again?

Who knows! These covers are pretty intriguing.

Its going to be Spider-Man's film rights. Lol.. Serious.

Re: my previous comment - assuming it's the returning rights of Star Wars, that would explain some of the similarities to WWII due to Lucas' modeling the original trilogy heavily on a WWII theme.

I dont think it for star wars on these just for the fact that all the movie posters are for Age of Ultron. Also makes me curious that the kid is conspicuously wearing the spidey hat but no sign of him on the cover could that really be a sign of them welcoming spidey back?

@126thst - The covers being for Star Wars is logical speculation, but still just speculation.

@MrDeadRabbit - Yes, Force Awakens will surpass Menace. And Wolvorosus! That almost sounds like one of those mashup names people give to their ships.

@Alfredo27:

It's wolverines (plural) #1. It's a team book. Wolverine is still dead.

-------------------------------------

What does it say that I hope welcome home is just one big celebration after they've stopped red skull and there won't be any battles or fighting?

You hear that marvel? You can give these guys a break before they have to finish dealing with all reality crashing.

Ugh is that cyclops popping popcorn?

See even people who work at marvel don't understand his powers

They should just retcon his power.

Like make it a beam of force but make it telekinetic force. Something that makes a bit more since than FORCE BLAST like most people don't just think it's a laser beam anyway.

Sorry...stuffing the inner nerd back in now.

Thank God Marvel has brought back the REAL Guardians of the Galaxy and the very real, ORIGINAL, and actual Star-Lord!
You can have your tape-listening, uber schmarmy Bendis version. I'll take the Element Gun shooting flyer and his lady friend Ship any day of the week!

That's all.
