@newmutantsRETURNS: Them 'possibly' being mutants is a retcon itself. It wasn't done until the early 80s. For twenty years, they were thought to be demon children. Look up Chthon.

Anyone else notice Sabretooth's inner monologue is a twist on Wolverine's old saying? The rest of the dialogue in here is pretty tight also.

What, now Magnetos not their father? God damn it. Remember that episode of Southpark where Lucas and Spielberg were raping their properties? Yeah that's Marvel and their Editors these days. Can't seem to go a few weeks without some drastic alteration of a character.

@Darkhaven....they were original members of the Brotherhood, which was in the 60s..."them" being mutants was never in question...what was retconned was their parentage from The Whizzer to Magnus....Bova pretty much confirmed who their mother was due to the fact she was the midwife during the birth and raised the twins after Magda dissappeared into the snow mountains in fear of Magnus....so yeah...all this new stuff is pretty much bullshit...

Who cares if they are mutants or not? No one on this site own the rights to the characters, so either accept it or don't read it. Tired of the lame azz whining. At least Marvel steps out of the box and go against the grain to create fresh, new stories.

I'm pretty sure that Magda is still the mother. That fact really can't be changed. But the '79 story that depicted the twins being born didn't clearly say who the father was. It was Chris Claremont who connected them in a last page sequence of X-Men. And Magento was already a retcon because of the Whizzer and Miss America connection earlier. Marvel is looking back to that '79 story with the High Evolutionary and saying there is more to it then was originally told in Avengers 185-187.

Anyhow, after Kevin Feige's interview in 2014, I'm not so sure QS and SW are Inhumans as we all assuming. Their powers didn't 'evolve' in the MCU from Terrigen Mists but through the Mind Stone. People are rushing to judgment and we need to wait until AOU before we get answers. It looks like Marvel is trying to sync the reveal in the comics and the MCU around about the same time. The major difference is The High Evolutionary from the comics is being replaced by Baron Von Strucker in the MCU.
