Their are already a few Annual issues coming soon (TEEN TITANS, ANIMAL MAN and BATMAN Annual issues) now you can add one more to the list. DC has announced a new title "Detective Comics Annual" the first issue will be released August 29th.

Here is what DC had to say...

“This special Annual, written by Tony S. Daniel and illustrated by Romano Molenaar and Sandu Florea, pits the Dark Knight against the Black Mask—a Gotham City villain most recently seen during the Night of the Owls!”

Tony S Daniel? Hmmm think will give this a miss, his new 52 Batman run on Detective Comics has been terrible. Hopefully there is a Snyder annual.

Scott Snyder does have one, Batman Annual with Dr. Freeze! Out later this month!

Cheers for the heads up, loving Snyders work not just with Batman, but his other titles are great, probably in top 3 writers out there at the moment.

I like Tony Daniel's Detective, the Penguin story was a little weak but I like it.

Plus Black mask is awesome, a dark villain perfect for Detective comics, looking forward.
