The artwork looks okay for a comic book.

Joeb/Sale is the best writer/artist duo in all of comics. Every time they come together, the book is a masterpiece and goes down as one of the character's must read books.

Can't [frick]ing wait.

@levitikuz

Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon are the best team in comics. Jeph Loeb is a poor man's Paul Levitz.

The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, Hulk: Gray, Daredevil: Yellow, Spider-Man: Blue............Yeah, these guys have a track record of putting out some of the very best work in comics. I recently bought the Yellow/Blue/Gray collection specifically because of these guys. Can't wait for Cap: White.

@LEVI Coupdnt agree more. Jeph has done questionable things with Marvel TV, but I can't wait for this. The Long Halloween is still my favorite Batman GN. Plus Tim Sale does some majestic art.

Wow, so it's several bad art styles all in one comic! Why do we still see so much bad art in comics. You'd think they'd have this all ironed out by now.

@iusedtobethecase it's part of the Marvel Color Books series genius. Spider-Man Blue (a masterpiece), Daredevil Yellow (haven't read it but have heard it's brilliant), and Hulk Grey (haven't gotten my hands on a copy yet but it is supposed to be pretty good). All of these were done by Loeb and Sale. Cap White was supposed to be the fourth book in the series and it never got off the ground because Loeb got busy in television. The books serve as flash backs to the early days of the characters and act as the "story between the pages" of famous story-lines from the comics typically zooming in on the personal relationships of the characters and are done loosely in the style of the original writers (Stan Lee) and artists (Kirby, Romita,Everett, etc.). Take the time to actually know something about the subject before you run your mouth.

@braniac13 I am so freaking excited about this. I didn't get really into reading comics until college and then I would just by the trade paperbacks for story-lines. I've already decided that this will be the first series that I collect as it debuts. Spider-Man blue might just be my favorite story ever.

What do the colors represent? I would understand if it was just Yellow and Grey in relation to Daredevil and Hulk, but I'm not sure I'm following why Blue and White were chosen for Spidey and Cap?
Can someone enlighten me?

I've read their books so many times.......just love the way they create a perfect story.

@PietroMaximoff

Blue = was meant to describe Spider-Man's mood. How he felt losing Gwen and talking about her.

Yellow & Grey = Guess those are nods to Daredevil and Hulk's first appearance since DD first wore yellow and Hulk was grey at first.
