It's weird and cool how all these new Star Wars comics are now just as much canon as the movies are.

Umm BANANERO..., that's nothing to say, nor joke around with, no matter what context you use it within now'a'days. No matter where your blogging or texting..., whatever..., be careful what you say..., you never know whose reading, or judging what state of mind your in, convincing them to investigate you further.

Retrofit, I think that's the point...kind of foreshadowing.

For some reason, that last pic of Jabba reminds me of Peter Griffin.

In before people start bashing the Prequels. People act like Darth Vader is so badass because he looks cool (which is the same reason why they love Boba Fett who is horribly overrated). In the original trilogy, he was just the Emperor's bitch. In the prequels, people complained about him being whiny but he was actually heroic and pretty badass there. His downfall was emotional which is funny because people often say that the prequels didn't have any emotional moments. I can go on and on. People can love the original trilogy all they want but I can find just as many "dumb" moments there as the prequels. After all, Star Wars is just dumb popcorn flicks so I don't get why people take these movies so seriously.

@ButthurtKurvos

You are so blind! You so do not understand! You weren't there at the beginning. You don't know how good it was! How important! This is it for you! This jumped-up firework display of a toy advert! People like you make me sick! What's wrong with you? Now, I don't care if you've saved up all your fifty 'p's, take your pocket money and get out!

That's right. Push me down for having different opinions. People have always pushed me down and told me to go kill myself for liking the prequels. I swear, you prequel bashers are almost as bad as homophobes.

Prequels were an abomination of both acting and story telling on so many levels it's incomprehensible. The original first 2 Star Wars films were great until Lucas basically sold out. I trust Abrams will set things right by making the stories the core fans have been luster for since the 70s. This book has got me sold...when does it hit the shelves?

Well, sorry but Phantom Menace was my first Star Wars movie just like the original movies were yours. People can be so biased and selective when it comes to these things. But what do I know? I'm just an attention seeking drama queen, right> <_<

Does anyone know if these new comics are going to be cannon for the movies?

Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm says they're canon. (Until the new movies contradict them, which is bound to happen eventually.)

if it weren't for the FANS of the ORIGINAL trilogy, clamoring for more STAR WARS, the prequels would not have been made.

unfortunately, what they got were pieces of UTTER EXCREMENT from george lucas' BEHIND.

that's how i felt when i was one of the first to see phantom menASS.
