Apart from a few short-lived variations, Spider-Man has had the same costume since his first appearance. The same can be said for Spider-Woman, but following her debut as a playable character in the Spider-Man Unlimited mobile game with a very different appearance (screenshots from the game can be found below), Jessica Drew will also be seen in the new costume in the comic books from March onwards. That will mark a different direction for the character as the focus turns to her being more of a street level superhero. "As much as I'm a fan of spandex and it has its time and place, I felt Jess as a character could move away from that for a good long while," says Spider-Woman editor Nick Lowe. "Spider-Man isn't really a detective — he swings around looking for trouble, whereas Jess needs to go and figure stuff out and dig things up, and you can't really do that head to toe in spandex very well." Thoughts on the new look for Spider-Woman?
