Today, Marvel is pleased to present your first look inside AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #16.1, the first chapter of SPIRAL from Gerry Conway! That’s right, the man who brought you some of the most shocking and iconic Spidey stories in history returns for a new story that’s sure to be no exception!
 
The underworld is in flux ever since the Kingpin got taken out of Shadowland. That war is heating up and now that Spidey is back on the seen he’s going to do something about it! But he’s not the only one out for justice – Police Captain Yuri Watanabe is trying to curtail the madness both in her day job and as the vigilante known as THE WRAITH! But do she and Spidey play by the same rules?
 
Hammerhead, Tombstone, the Circus of Crime, Black Cat and Mr. Negative. Only one can rule the underworld. And they’ll stop at nothing to eliminate their competition. I haven't been this hyped for a Spider-Man comic in a loooooooooong time.

This is The TRUE Spider-Man! Welcome back, Conway! I love it. Spidey has always been best as a street level character.

When he starts getting involved in Clones. Reality Altering demons, alternate dimensions, space stuff. My attention just turns off for some reason. I hope this continues for a while.

Honestly, we all should be considered African-America since all of life truly started there. Now, there's been studies done to prove otherwise under European scholars throughout the late 1800's and early 1900's but sadly they were proved to be incredibly wrong.



just as @MrAisA stated, there were many Blacks that sailed and/or brought here before and during the slavery period. I won't go as far to say that ALL Africans were just rounded up in nets being brought to the US. But deals were made amongst their own people to be brought here. Now, if anyone wants to know if they were brought here from the lands of Africa there's ancestral data within state documents that can trace back to their origins. Doing this is NOT an easy task but I'm sure we all have ties back to mother Africa one way or another whether we want to accept it or not.
