You mean "Green Arrow #38" in the title, not "Green Lantern #38"
but otherwise…

Wait why couldn't Green Lantern just use light construct arrows instead of having maintain his focus on the fight AND making sure Ollie has his suit??

I miss Ollie's Errol Flynn goatee.

I haven't read much of the New 52 Green Arrow, but now I might have to start picking it up.

Would've been funny if Green Lantern gave Oliver the "Arrow" suit,

I really hated how Kreisberg just side lined Emiko like he did, and the writing has paled in comparison to Lemire's (nowhere near as bad as Nocenti's or Krul's) (not to mention that art plain sucks compared to Sorrentino)but I am glad that he's bring back some more classic GA elements, like his sense of humor, liberal values and obviously his GL team ups.

@TheSuperGuy

Start with Lemire/Sorrentino's stuff. It's way better. Not to say Kreisberg's is bad, it's way better than Nocenti or JT Krul's new 52 GA. Anyway, I believe Lemire's starts at #17. Green Arrow vol 4. Kill Machine, Green Arrow vol 5. Outsiders War and Green Arrow vol 6. Broken.

Uhhh are we all gonna pretend that GL willing a suit for GA isn't cool as all hell?

I'm just amusing myself by coming up with inappropriate cereals for children. Here are some examples:

Bitch-Ass Trix
Cocaine Pebbles
Fruit Lupus

(sigh) People comparing Kreisberg and Lemire. Kreisberg is a CW tv writer and Lemire is one of the best current comic writers, no shit Lemire's run is superior.

That will power suit is cool, think it'd have been better if they used a new design (a cross between the usual suit and the GL suit). I might pick this up.

John's GL ended fantastically in the new 52, and Lemire's new 52 GA is one of the best runs on the character ever. As far as I'm concerned, on the mount rushmore of GA writers, you've got O'Neil/Adams, Mike Grell, Kevin Smith, Andy Diggle and Jeff Lemire.

@AlphaMasterFlex

Just skip ahead to Lemire's run, with vol 4, 5 and 6. It's way better than Arrow. And I like Arrow a lot.

Well because then it wouldn't be Green Lantern AND Green Arrow would it? He wants to fight next to one of his best friends. Also, GL is amazing with light constructs, but not so much shooting arrows (and it goes vice versa as well, as revealed in GL Rebirth), whereas GA is amazing with arrows.
