I would love to get this story......

But it's written by Slott.

Hopefully in this new Marvel Universe, Slott won't be on Spidey books and they will Soule or Waid or Lemire or hell A GOOD WRITER!

Agents of SHIELD variant? That came out of no where.

Slott just doesn't understand basic human interaction.

Yeah, those Agents of SHIELD posters they released over the course of the second half of S2 are being repackaged as variants for various Secret Wars titles.

I wish this was cannon so bad. This is the next step in character development Peter needs to take, being with MJ and having his daughter May. Other heroes have had kids such as Reed Richards, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Red Arrow and even Batman. Seeing Peter dealing with a wife and child would be a wonder to see and a breath of fresh air in the Spiderman mythology.

I'm scared one of these days they'll destroy the whole Marvel Multiverse and just replace it with the MCU like DC's New 52

staypuffed - Well that seems rather forced on Marvel's part.

At least they're better than the AOS variants released around the start of All-New Marvel NOW! These new ones have cool art; the other ones were just shit.

I mean, who wants a Guardians of the Galaxy variant with Fitz just standing around?

Man... I'm tired of Dan Slott on Spider-Man. Now I have to disagree with my buddy @LEVITIKUZ I don't think he is TERRIBLE I REALLY enjoyed Superior Spider-Man.

But I just want some fresh blood on Spidey. I actually always get bored of a writer If they are on a book for too long, I don't care how good it is.

staypuffed - Good gravy, that AoS variant is horrible! What were they thinking when they made that?

That AOS variant is laughable. If they need to put the comic's title in ugly block letters to explain what it actually is, then it shouldn't be a cover.

Jeez, Slott's dialogue sucks. Idea itself isn't too bad though, and hopefully the new Marvel universe following Secret Wars incorporates some of these ideas - Peter and MJ should still be 616 Peter and MJ rather than these ones, but they should make some real efforts to bring the characters back to a point closer to pre-Civil War.

Have them married or engaged, maybe have MJ pregnant. It's about time Spidey got the chance to actually grow up and have the family life he wanted. Plus, if Marvel and some fans are worried about how this will change Spidey's dynamic, it'll only add to the idea of Peter having to juggle his personal life with his superhero one, while the stories that better fit a younger Spider-Man could be given to Miles (who should also survive into the new Marvel universe). That way, we get two concurrent Spider-Men, one who has actual character progression that he deserves, and one who gets to take over where the old one left off.

Oh, and hopefully a new creative team on the Spider-Man titles. Would be nice for the character to have great storylines, good dialogue, and art that is actually worthy of one of the most iconic superheroes of all time (not necessarily saying Ramos is bad, he just doesn't fit Spidey IMO, and isn't exactly my cup of tea anyway).

And what's the point in the AOS alternate cover? The current season ended like a month ago...
