Marvel would be damn fools to not have Waid/Samnee be the new Spider-Man team.

Slott better not be still writing Spider-Man.

@STORMKAMI has a point.

Fisk would have died from a heart attack by now.

If you aren't reading the comic then why would it bother you what he wears.

Until he puts his costume back on, I'm calling him:

Murdock: The Pimp Without Taste
Or, maybe, "Captain Ketchup"

Not enough? A children's rhyme perhaps?

"Red Rover, red rover, hit Murdock's tailor with a boulder"

@dr3d: if he might be interested in reading the right dd story, or even any story dd might be involved in (marvel does a lot of cross over stories and big events) than its perfectly reasonable. And if he's like me, he's not reading comics like spidey, wolvie, Thor and ect BECAUSE of these changes. Given the right story, writer, artist and angle I may pick up practically any marvel title, dd included, though I hadn't been keeping up too much with hornhead recently. But stuff like pimp Murdock is an instant no-deal for me. You don't always have to read something to know you don't like it.

In general, if the cliff notes version of a major character shift sounds like a joke, it's a bad idea. Daredevil gets rid of the suit and secret identity and starts wearing a red suit/gloves/glasses/cane and is a snazzy lawyer? I would have thought that was a joke a few years ago.

People can dislike things for whatever reasons they want, but you seem overly defensive. I asked if you don't read it, why would it bother you?

I don't read WW who has recently had a costume change and meh. I still have an initial opinion on it. Not to mention the DD comic is changing direction in the next couple months anyways, so of course it's temporary.

He might cross dress on Wednesday nights, but I'm not here to speculate, I just asked a question.

I read Thor, but not Cap. I wasn't on board with the Thor change, but it's still a good series so I continue to read it. I read the all new Cap, still didn't like it. Black or not Cap is kinda boring for me, but I still gave it a chance. I read for quality and Waid and Samnee's DD has been imo great.

However, I do understand that people can be preemptively turned off because they haven't been reading a series from the beginning and all they see are "gimmicks".

Dr3d: fair enough I guess. I was mostly commenting because you see people post a lot that so and so shouldn't comment if they don't like something and/or don't watch/read it. Which is sometimes fair (ex: if someone goes to a dc article, say they hate dc and then bash dc repeatedly, they're just trolling.) but sometimes it's totally reasonable, like in mine (and I presume sting's case because if he would've even consider reading a dd/dd related comic or show otherwise it doesn't effect him and he shouldn't be upset). Just giving my 2 cents.

Daredevil's identity has been public since the 90s, and people are still complaining? Weird.
I hope this creative team stays on after the relaunch/reboot/retool/rehash whatever that's coming our way.
