LAST WEEK'S RESULTS

Elektra (Marvel) VS Shredder (TMNT)

The Shredder Wins!

THIS WEEK'S EVENT

Green Arrow

Real Name: Oliver Queen
First Appearance: More Fun Comics #73 (November 1941)
Universe: DC Comics
Arch-Nemesis: The Dark Archer
Bio:

Oliver Queen was just your average, run of the mill, spoiled rich billionaire...until he was shipwrecked onto a island. His corrupt father, who died in the shipwreck, left Queen a list of names of other criminals who had torn Star City apart in hopes that he would right his wrongs. On the island, Queen had to learn to survive on his own. But how could he? Lucky enough, he was found by another islander (or, in some incarnations, islanders) and taught survival skills such as archery and martial arts. Queen was eventually found by a boat and was returned to his home, Star City. There he became the vigilante known as GREEN ARROW, who began battling the cities criminals including the Dark Archer, Brick, Adam Hunt, Clock King, Deadshot, Onomatopoeia, Count Vertigo, and others. Green Arrow is perhaps the best archer in the DC Universe. He also uses many trick arrows such as the boxing glove arrow, an explosive arrow, ETC. He is skilled in a variety of martial arts, he's beaten Jason Todd in a sword fight, and has other gadgets and accessories such as the Arrow plane and even an Arrow Cave.

Hawkeye

Real Name: Clint Barton
First Appearance: Tales Of Suspense #57 (September 1964)
Universe: Marvel
Arch-Nemesis: Crossfire
Bio:

Clint Barton, codename: HAWKEYE, is an agent of SHIELD and just might be Marvel's best marksman. At a young age, Barton's family died in a car crash. As an orphan, Barton was found and trained in archery by Swordsman and Trick Shot. Initially, he joined the circus but after witnessing the heroic feats of Iron Man, he was inspired to become a hero himself. This would of course lead to him joining SHIELD and The Avengers. Despite having Goliath's abilities at one point, Hawkeye has no superhuman abilities. However, Barton is a weapons expert, a master archer, Martial Artist, gadgets expert and possesses many trick arrows (much like Green Arrow) and has access to some of SHIELD's gadgets.

VOTING IS OVER. RESULTS COMING TOMORROW (Sunday, September 28)

Welcome, I am Darkknight2149. I am primarily a fan of comic books and their various adaptations, as well as horror and other classic film franchises.

As far as the "DC vs. Marvel" rivalry goes, I'm really not biased when it comes to studios and publishers. Preferences are fine, but I've never understood the basing of opinions purely by the studio/publisher that makes it.
