In this sensational, giant-sized one-shot spinning out of BATMAN INCORPORATED, Batman realizes to his horror that he’s been outwitted as the true identity of Leviathan continues to elude him. Is his deadly adversary an old foe with a grudge to settle, a new face of evil...or something completely different? Only one thing is certain: You won’t soon forget the shocking ending!

According to the publisher, the one-shot rounds out "season 1" and is also the prologue to 2012’s Batman: Leviathan – the "epic, tragic, final act of a story six years long."

"Gotham’s greatest detective will learn that there’s more to his deadly foe than meets the eye" says DC in their announcement. "So what is the Leviathan’s shocking secret? We’re not saying..."

"The long-awaited conclusion to season 1 of Batman Incorporated is here at last!"
says Morrison in the announcement. "For months, Batman and his allies have fought a shadow campaign against the deadly legions of the mysterious Leviathan, but now it’s time for all-out war – a war which Batman may not be able to win.

"Schoolgirl assassins! Bat-robots! Nazi masterminds with Alzheimer’s! Guest stars galore! Batman and Spoiler team to face the School of Night while Batman Incorporated travels to a sinister Cold War interrogation facility to face the mind-bending menace of Doctor Dedalus for the last time while the true identity of Leviathan is finally revealed, with shocking consequences for the Dark Knight."

First, 'The Avengers'. Now, Batman. This "Leviathan" is everywhere!!! This menace must be stopped! Will this finally bring DC and MARVEL together?!?!

I'm excited, to continue Batman Inc. but this is pretty meh, it's just Batman Inc #9 and #10 rolled into an giant sized issue due to the relaunch.

Hopefully Inc. ends epically, and the ending doesn't make me too upset, considering they said it'd be tragic.

If you read the story instead of fail-trolling, you'd know that Leviathan is a organization.

The cover kind of reminds me of Frank Quietly style, he's beast when working with Morrison, is he on any of the new DC books?

@3D

Leviathan in Batman INC has been confirmed for a while. Comics and movies of separate companies have no connection whatsoever.

Batman doing extensive long-term crap outside of his Gotham night job and billionaire day job has no interest to me whatsoever. It takes all the acceptable natural limitations of the mythos and turns it into something it was never meant to be, yet another superhero taking on all threats to the world with more time on his hands than anyone would have in a normal day!

Batman is a man fixated on clearing up his city, he has limitations of being a mere mortal with skills but a lot of determination, finance and resources. His worry is not cleaning up the crime of the international world organizations when the likes of Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman have more than enough powers and abilities to do so without breaking a sweat. Comics like these just stray miles too far from the point!

I think it is obvious that Damien Wayne is the Leviathan sleeper agent and that will be the key to the "tragic" ending. Leviathan has been making use of sinister children and...I shouldnt have to elaborate at this point.

Batman's been fighting global crime since the seventies there has to be some sense that Bruce would use the money and resources he has to fight global threats one city would not be enough for him.

It's the best Batman I've ever read. But I don't suggest you start with Batman Inc. You'd have to start reading Grant Morrison from the beginning at Batman & Son to fully understand and appreciate Batman Inc and Grant Morrison's run.

Morrison's run on Batman has been going on since 2006 it's been very different from traditional Batman stories but is brilliant it is a shame it ends in 2012 but it was not going to last forever.

Really, IDGAF what you think of me, you're just some random person on the internet. Get over yourself, you were clearly out of line in your previous post by calling CaptainTall a retard, and your earlier posts obviously made no sense and were a poor attempt at trying to be funny.
