His mask is actually growing on me now. It would look cooler if it covered his entire head though. I've always thought masks look goofy when the mouth is still exposed like Batman or Flash. Cover that sh*t up like Azreal!

I dont NOT like Baz, but im gonna stop getting this one if they dont bring Hal back soon! Hal was the only reason i picked up this book. I know, I know, but he is my favorite.

The Ring is teaching him the Oath. That's why it is says "your."

I'm liking Baz. Still not liking the mask covering his chin, though. Makes him look like a baddie, which I admit is probably intentional.

I'm liking him, but Hal, John, and Kyle still are "Green Lantern" to me. Not so much Guy... I HATE Guy...

Johns characters are cardboard cut outs... while these characters are heroes, they have one or two personality flaws that mark them as flawed.

And that is it; once he’s established one or two flaws in his characters, Johns fancies that his work is done. These flaws will be hammered home for the next thirty six issues.

The man lacks for originality and for inspiration; he cares only for appeasing his own inner fanboy. Though this might endear him to other comic readers, there is no doubt at all that he will be forgotten thirty years from now when there’s distance enough to look back on these days and see them for the rather bland period in comics history that they are.

Hal Jordan sucks...that's all.

Baz makes Green Loser not...LAME!!!
CavEl
CavEl - 1/17/2013, 3:30 PM
The only way Green Lantern can be cool is if Grant Morrison wrote him under Nolan's supervision and if the artist drew Hal Jordan to look like Tom Brady.

Only then would Hal Jordan not be lame.

Yay KICK -ASS got himself a Lantern!
Baz is okay but pointless. there are so many GLs now its silly.
Love DC and GL is the best, but they need to stop making the Corps the go-to for diversity. Diversity is great, but that just comes across as a cop-out.

@PatriotSuperguy - Hal Jordan is Han Solo with Jedi Powers, how can that not be cool?

He is HANDS DOWN the best and most important Green lantern.

It's funny to see a few loving Baz. I recall when he was first introduced every single person was bashing the idea, smh lol.

BAZ I think is not sympathic and i do not like him

MJPETTY7 - 1/17/2013, 4:15 PM
For me it goes:

1. Hal Jordan
2. John Stewart
3. Kyle Rayner
4. Alan Scott (I know he's not in the Corps, but he's the ORIGINAL GL!)
5. Simon Baz
6. Guy Gardner...

@PatriotSuperguy Morrison is NEVER allowed to write Green Lantern... Not after all that work Geoff Johns did to fix it!!!

The only reason that I picked up reading DC again was back when they brought Hal back. If he is not back again soon, I am done. As far as I am concerned they can get rid of Rayner (he has become a little bitch), Stewart (is a wet blanket and no personality) and Baz (who is overkill and should have never been introduced to begin with). Hal & Guy are the only ones worth while.

For me the list is as follows:
1)Hal
2)Kyle
3)Baz
4)John
5)Guy

Not that i don't enjoy them all,i just prefer some more than the others.
