COMICS: DC Reveals SUPERMAN/WONDER WOMAN New York Comic Con Poster

New York Comic Con organisers 'ReedPOP' have teamed with DC and artist Stephanie Roux to produce a very cool poster for the convention which features Superman and Wonder Woman (who will soon appear in their own title) standing guard over New York's most iconic landmarks. Check it out!

This year's New York Comic Con takes place just a day after the release of Superman/Wonder Woman #1. Expect to see the latest addition to DC's "The New 52" to be featured heavily at the event, with this fantastic piece of artwork likely being used to an exclusive variant cover.


Beginning a bold new series that details the relationship between The Man of Steel and the Warrior Princess as rising star writer Charles Soule is joined by fan favorite artist Tony S. Daniel to tell the tale of a romance that will shake the stars themselves. These two super-beings love each other, but not everyone shares their joy. Some fear it, some test it—and some will try to kill for it. Some say love is a battlefield, but where Superman and Wonder Woman are concerned it spells Doomsday!

^^ what gizmo said. I'm a fan of art styles leaning towards realism (Lee Bermejo is a master at this), but to then juxtapose that on a cartoonish costume just seems silly. superman's suit doesn't look real in the same way the rest of the poster does

WW's blue boots don't work. And DC needed to drop the T & A shit with WW about 30 years ago.

On a technical note the buildings are not following a correct perspective.
Some of the background buildings look like they're leaning or falling.
Even the windows on the front buildings on the left have poor perspective.

I think Daniel did the figures and a total amateur tried to add buildings and create a background.

The big red belt ruins the suit for me, if they added a little gold, or maybe the S on the shield buckle part would make it better, at least to me.

You know, Superman's new look has really grown on me and I'm glad that they've done away with the trunks in this modern day. I just can't get into Wonder Woman's costume. For a moderday look, those panties have gotta go. I mean she's a warrior, that's running around in her underwear. It just doesn't go along with the re-imagined look for Superman, Batman et al.

LOL @ the people saying "Batman & Wonder Woman"....Bruce Wayne can't even stay faithful to one woman. Tells Catwoman she's his one and only and than sleeping around Gotham. Kissing Talia and shit. Yeah, Hook Bruce up with a SUPERPOWERED Female who'd tear his DICK off once she catches him cheating.

Some fans don't know what the hell they are talking about. Superman & Wonder Woman is a good suit, Superman can't have kids with Lois, this is a perfect chance to create a future SUPERPOWERED KID. And you can make this into a controversial matter... Kid would have an Amazonian army and he has 2 super powered parents? His Dad is Superman? ....I am indeed liking this.

PS - Fu*k Bruce Wayne. IF I was a writer I would of had Talon murder him. Always liked the Dick Grayson Batman over that boring ole' Bruce Wayne crap over and over and over.... freaking annoying.
