It's good! I wouldn't call it stunning, though.

I like everything there except for Superman himself, but I can still live with it. I like the retro old-school style.

What is it about the new 52 suit that I just can't stand? Maybe its the collar... Or maybe it's the red belt... Or maybe... Just maybe it's...

I like it, it looks like some old 1940s art-deco style poster

This definitely shows the power of restraint when it comes to colors and line detail. Excellent!

Looks better being a bit more subtle like that. the pointless lines and seams are still there. Looks closer to the classic look minus the classic shorts design (as seen in MANY a Superhero not just Superman)

My complaint is that it looks like Superboy not Superman. They need to do some rebooting and soon.

I like the general setup of the cover but I'm not a fan, in general, of Chiang's type of artwork

There is a Speed Racer vibe to it in the eyes

But I wouldn't be too hard on his art. Previous art show Superman all angry with glowing eyes for no particular reason in some. They show him running about in a Tshirt cape and jeans like a 8 year old playing superman out in the yard, then there was one that just looked like Superman was in the Archie universe. This art is not great but its at least more in the spirit of Superman minus the Superboy Speedracer interpretation. But then again all the other incarnations Superman came off as looking like Superboy anyway

I don't really care for the cover that much.

@Just1Superguy I have got my issue #11 thought was pretty good, but I have found that when Morrison is actually sticking to the story and not doing weird breakaway stuff, like issues 5,6 and 9, then Action Comics has been pretty good.

The back up story about his t-shirts is surprisingly good too, and leaves you wondering if it was actually true, much like the Joker's "How I got these scars"

Sorry, but the new costume is as good as the comic has been. They both suck. Time to reboot the comic again.
