DC Comics has made some new information available regarding Harley Quinn's upcoming one-shot for Villains Month. The story follows her returning to Gotham City on path of self-discovery of sorts in the wake of Forever Evil #1's events. The Suicide Squad has disbanded and she finds herself alone for the first time; no government created team of super criminals and no Mistah J.

Her New 52 origin has been told within the pages of Suicide Squad proper, but DC promises an untold chapter here, as well as her first meeting with The Joker. Fans of Batman: The Animated Series will be treated to several Mad Love Easter Eggs.

There's no word if this will serve as a lead-in for her upcoming ongoing series that debuts in November. I didn't originally plan to get this book, but now I'm highly tempted.

Detective Comics #23.2: Harley Quinn is written by Matt Kindt and illustrated by Neil George. You can purchase a copy September 11.
