See this is why DC will always be too goofy. And why people say Batman is a Marvel character in spirit. It's true.

This and Animal Man are the best books in the new 52 as of right now. They need to look towards Brian Azzarello take on WW when penning the script for the movie.

@ mctrinket It would be be a damn shame if Batman was in Marvel.

New Genesis looks really cool again!
Thanks Azarello for give some respect to the Kirby's legacy! I hope the same for the new 52 writers! And please: Make good use of DARKSEID!

@mctrinket
What the hell do you refer with all that crap? Batman is 100% DC since 1939. A Marvel character is a more human and conflicted, Batman is a Justice League founder member who walk with the gods, just read a little, in the name of High Father!

One of my favorite New 52 titles. I love Chiang's Wondie. She looks so majestic and drop dead gorgeous.

@mctrinket Hopefully people will pick up on what must be your obvious sarcasm, as Marvel has just as many "goofy" characters and story lines as DC has produced over the years.

One of the reasons being the two companies have copied, or been inspired by one another for years.

DC involves characters that are mostly Gods.
Marvel involves characters that are mostly humans affected by science.

I like the idea that Gods walk among earth. They could use their power to overthrow mankind but instead, use them as a force for good. That is why I prefer DC over Marvel.

I still like Marvel a lot. Spider-man is my second favorite superhero of all time.

@ DarkKnight1939 - Marvel involves characters that are mostly humans affected by Science.

What about Flash, GL, Cyborg? Why does Marvel think they invented human characters? Most of Marvels characters are silverage characters. Silverage characters are influenced by Barry Allen...a DC character... Who was a normal man... Effected by science.

Well I did say "mostly" Gods. I didn't say Marvel invented human characters, just that they have more. Cap, Ant Man, Spider-man, The Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Daredevil, etc.
DC is without a doubt the founder of Superhero comics.

Why do people make arbitrary distinctions between Marvel and DC.

DC isn't necessarily about gods, nor about being 'dark'.

They are just different publishing companies. sheesh.

If Marvel bought the rights to Superman, it doesn't all of a sudden make him more 'relatable' and 'flawed'.

Also, this looks awesome.

If they ever plan to set up New Genesis / Apokolips for a JL movie, a WW movie would be an awesome place to do it, with the old/new gods connection.

Azarello has raped the Wonder Woman mythology that greats like George Perez worked so hard to establish with his shitty misogynist rendering of her mythology.
