First! Do your homework kids! Doctor Death was Batmans first reoccuring villian. This is so cool how Snyder is taking it back to the begining with bats, Doc D appears in the third batman story.

Oh, good, so Lucius wasn't a traitor after all. I was legitimately worried that the new 52 had turned him around on us. But, then again, he was an ally in the clayface arc not too long ago- so I guess I should have known better.

I wish Doctor Death was featured on Batman TAS. Too bad he fell into obscurity, but glad to see Snyder is using him.

DOCTOR DEATH?!?

Holy CRAP-- Snyder is digging DEEP into the Golden Age for this guy. Of course, I guess it helps that his version of Doctor Death is basically a completely different character than the guy who was Batman's first-ever recurring supervillain (until he died in a fire that Batman was partially responsible for, of course).

I'm intrigued-- I haven't caught up on my Batman comics, so I don't know how it got to this point... but now I really want to!

Loving Snyder's run on Batman, his storytelling is pretty good!

(Ahhh... I just checked Doctor Death's Wiki page, and apparently they've tried to revive the character twice-- once for a short while in the Bronze Age, and once in the modern age as a villain of Batgirl's. But really, if they're going to try to bring back Doctor Death, the ONLY way to do it is in the Batman books, as a high-profile Bat-villain [and not some schmuck lackey of Black Mask].)

(So I hope this brings the guy back into prominence [even if I don't approve of him being ANOTHER monstrous, physically-deformed Batman villain-- really, can't we have a mad scientist who DOESN'T test his serums out on himself, just once?]... Batman can always use some more good rogues!)

Good to see there using classic villains they should update more of the obscured villains for all the heroes.

After that messy Joker-in-name-only storyline, I'm wary. I think Scott Snyder needs to read a couple of decades of Dark Knight comics and give it another try.

DC seriously needs to lay off the filters. They're ugly as hell.

Doctor Death, on the other hand, looks very creepy!
