I love Bermejo and I was really excited to read this, but i have to say...the Rorschach ones suck! The writing is completely flat and nothing like Rorschach. Rorschach is brutal and somewhat crazy, but he is a lot more subtle and poetic in hi pursuit of justice. This Rorshach is like watching punisher or something.

Rorschach's written better in the NiteOwl ones at least.

1) I could look at Hughes's art all day long

2) what is going on that Rorschach is so poorly written? Azzarello is usually pretty great. "There's still some good people in the world". Ay yi yi. Each issue the dialog is worse and worse.

3) just read somewhere the Before Watchmen Collections will pair up books, so for $30 if you want to read Dr Manhattan, you will also be forced to pay for Night Owl and it's disgusting dated artwork. I hope this is not the case

DeNiro is the Taxi Driver because Taxi Driver was the inspiration for Rorschach

ComradeGrey pretty sure the question was the inspiration for Rorschach, all of the Watchmen are based off of DC owned characters

The Doc Manhattan one looks ripped straight from the original book almost
