Wow.....I feel so honored to be the first comment. All of my hardwork and dedication has paid off. Getting the top comment has been a dream of mine for many years, and i would like to thank those who have helped me along the way. First and foremost i would like to thank god for giving me this opportunity. Next i would like to thank my parents. I want to thank my cat Sucre , for being really fat and always there for me. I would also like to thank my pet tadpole for surviving against all odds for over a week. This is a special moment in my life and i would like to thank any of my unmentioned friends and family that have helped me along the way. This moment will be a moment that i will never forget. I just remmembered a few other people i would like to than: facebook, the fish i caught in the third grade, my light in my room bc i wouldn’t be able to see the keyboard without it, the internet for letting me go on facebook, my house because without it i would be homeless, and last but not least i would like to thank all the people out there that actually took time out of their day to read this. I cannot stress how much of a big deal to me this is. I have been trying to be the first comment on a post for years, but that has not been possible until this amazing day. Hopefully my good luck will continue, but this is undoubtedly a rare occasion. If you asked me how i did this, i would say, you can achieve anything u set your mind on. To all the kids out there reading this, i would like to tell them to follow their dreams. Being the top comment is amazing, thank you everyone."

Hey, even if it isn't canon, it looks like a lot of fun.

@TheAmaazingSpiderman: How did you have enough time to write all that before the second commenter? Did you have it written down on Microsoft Word or something, or did you really write that all just now? LOL! Regardless that was a funny comment!

@intruder -- why would you say that? you see, there are these things called comic book publishing companies, and they hire writers and artists to create characters. ultimately those characters and stories get re-imagined over and over again. these books are no different. have you read any of them? don't answer that ... i think i can guess.

how is this different than any other comic book you read? seriously, i don't understand the reasoning here.

If I was Alan More I wiuld rush to my nearest graveyard and ask if there are any open graves so I could climb in and spin in it.

Come to think of it turning around in agrave would be tough let alone spinning in it. I doubt Curly of the three stooges would even be able to do it.

The Watchmen was special, it wasn't the run of the mill comic book . It changed comics forever . Original the rights were supposed to return to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, they did not. Yes they were paid off but, the original idea was to have the rights go back to Moore and Gibbons giving them creative control and cash! Dc said no, Moore doesn't like this, and never works for DC again. Yeah they can do what they want but for fans of the Watchmen it doesn't feel right and I agree.

I love Watchmen, its one of my favorite graphic novels (hell, its one of my favorite novels) I thought the movie did it justice, though the book is still way better, but I thought it was really well done. When I first heard about Before Watchmen, i was disappointed and angry with DC for expanding on a universe that didn't need to be expanded upon. Now that i've read the first issue of Minuteman and Nite Owl, I'm interested into seeing where this goes. sure it feels weird and sort of wrong, but it's sort of fun to look at the past of these "heroes." I don't think it'll ruin Watchmen, it's just fun to think about. I'm looking forward to the future issues.
