It's not easy being Jaime Reyes. He has to deal with high school, family and all the drama that comes with being a teenager. Also, he's linked to a powerful scarab created by an alien race known as the Reach who seek to subjugate planets – or annihilate them. It's up to one teen hero to turn this instrument of destruction into a force for good.

I see the imitation, but that is something that persits on both sides. (Marvel simply does it better)

looking forward to this..arts not bad..i actaully dug rafael albuquerque's style on the book in the past. Jaime picked up the blue mantle pretty well honestly, looking forward to this.

I think after the first year of the new 52 Im going to slowly be dropping my montly titles. Just cant afford this shit anymore.

'Copying' is such a lame insult. Seriously guys... I understand the whole 'using the marvel formula' thing but I cant get my head round how you guys think each publisher has to stick to a 'formula' of story telling. In my opinion thats complete and utter bullshit. and just saying without DC, we wouldnt have Marvel. Without Marvel comics would have been dead by the 60's. Both have their merits. Fanboys are allowed to cry over this...

Blue beetle is really one of those less interesting
kinda lame characters that should not have gotten their
own title. I would've loved to see a Dr. Fate title. Yet
DC likes to let some of their more deep, intrigueing,
bad ass looking characters rest in obscurity.. sigh..
