Mogo gets reformed and John has another new girlfriend (it was established that Mogo is "female").

Geoff Johns isn't writing GL anymore and Baz and John Stewart aren't focused?

Who cares?

Thia all sounds great. Still sad to see Johns leave, but who knows, maybe this new guy will be great.

Still dont much care for Baz yet though

I've been reading the GL books for a lot of years now. While all this looks very promising I believe its time for me to walk away. Looking to make big cuts to my pull list and this looks like a good jumping off point.

Does anyone disagree that the Larfleeze cover is actually kinda scary with how he drew these characters. I believe this cover would scare small children and also why is Larfleeze a wolfman kinda alien I thought he was a lizard man kind of alien.

Baz is a main character in JLA anyway, and if Guy moves to Red Lanterns then John and Kilowag will run Green Lantern Corps. Over-all, everyone wins and everyone can follow their favorite GL anywhere. I'm just glad Hal's back at the center of GL and Sinestro's gone & that Baz is just in JLA. I do think that Hal should go back to JL though, I miss him and Flash in that book...

HOLY F*CK! Finally ALL Green Lantern books look interesting!

HAL JORDAN (the single best green lantern EVER!) is finally back in the saddle with no other colored lantern dragging him down... Guy a red lanter?!?!? = Dream. Come. true. Been wanting that since blackest night.

I dont think I could ask for more... lets just hope these books are actually as good as they sound.

As for Larfleeze I really REALLY dont see how he could hold a monthly title all on his own... I'd have rather gotten an Emerald Knights anthology book showcasing multiple short stories of various Corps members (just like the animated movie) or a Baz book (even though I'm not that big a Baz fan)

But we'll see... I think Judd Winnick may have been a better choice than Giffen given that Larfleeze is a bit of a comic relief and I think this book should be hilarious!!!

Anyway, super excited about all books! Cant wait!

The reason why Guy Gardner joins the red lanterns? Maybe because he was made gay.

Horray! I now know with absolute certainty that Hal is still alive and Kyle is still a White Lantern at the end of the First Lantern story! Goodbye, tension!

Okay, Geoff Johns would NEVER end a story with a down ending, so of COURSE Hal makes it out okay... but still, these solicitations aren't doing his story any favors.

Regardless, I can't WAIT to read the end of the First Lantern story, and see what Geoff has in store for his grand finale!

Also... I kinda wonder what happened to Sinestro...

And Simon Baz, for that matter.

At least this doesn't spoil EVERYTHING.

There is a beautiful lack of Baz and a slightly disappointing lack of John Stewart.

Why does Larfleeze look like a dog? He should look like this!

hhhmmm not sure about most of these.

GL, besides for changing the status quo thats been around forever, namely the guardians running things, Hal being the leader kinda goes against his whole character, Hal is fun becuz hes a free spirit who is a bit irresponsible and a bit of a rebel who is not serious most of the time, him being the leader of the entire corps takes that all away, not so sure this is the best move or if this is the end of the Hal we know and love.

Larfleeze looks cool, just hope it dosent try to take itself too seriously and is just wacky and straight out fun.

Red lanterns looks interesting but who is Gardener with? green or red?

new guardians Im also skeptical, I mean I know Kyle is the main focus but where are the other colored lanterns? also based on the cover art looks crappy.

Also in the GL description it says that the GLC is the most feared and hated in the universe? huh?
