Is that suppose to be a gun in Jor El's Hand? It has to be the most awkward and poorly designed gunever if it is.

Also that pointy part on the wrist would poke into his hand or would have to be glued there if its flexible. It serves no purpose, and nobody in their right mind would design a shirt with a part poking the back of your hand all the time or makes i so it cant move so well. I knokw the artist is trying to be creative, but at least attempt to have it make sense.

What I like about what Morrison has done here is that he has justified all of his decisions. There is meaning behind the creativity. I don't agree with all of them, for various reasons, but at least it's there and defensible.

At least this new version of Jor-El looks good. Kal-El's spaceship kinda reminds me of the golden age rocket. So far the only things I like about this reboot. Superman on the other hand is still just Kal-El to me.

I love the Alex Raymond "Flash Gordon" look to it. I have not read the new DC. They lost me at 52. But maybe I should come back.

Jor-El's suit does have a clasic golden age feel to it, especially the science insignia. It still looks contemporary though, I guess what's old is new again! The ship also has a classic sci fi look
to it. I like it.

"Project Steel Soldier"??? Are you friggin serious??? You gotta be kidding me. He actualy had the balls to pull the most blatant rip-off I've ever heard of and you think it's great?

BWAAAA-HAAAA-HAAAA!

CC Beck and the bosses of Fawcett Comics (Superman copyright lawsuit) must all be rolling over in their graves about now.

I'm not a fan of the armour look. If they are advanced why wear armours everytime?

Curious to see what they do about the S emblem. It won't be the science guild symbol. will it be the House of El's symbol, like DOnner's?

@NoRegrets outside of Klingons nobody wears armor unless they are going into battle.
