With the growing presence of super beings around the world, the United Nations resolves to create a new group called Justice League International.

Batman, Booster Gold, Green Lantern Guy Gardner, August General in Iron, Fire, Ice, Vixen and Rocket Red are charged with promoting unity and trust – but can they reach that goal without killing each other first?

I'm not a big fan of BG but his new costume design looks very much better than the original which was way too gimmicky in my opinion, which I believe was the point but still, I can't wait to read this.....still no Power Girl :(

Awesome. I wasn't all that interested in this particular title at first, but it actually looks pretty good.

Can't wait for some *new* classic Guy/Batman moments, and I love the idea of Booster being in charge.

Also Booster Gold's costume is a clear improvement. They actually managed to make him look slightly LESS campy. I thought it was impossible. Kudos.

DC lost any future revenue from me (Comics, games, toys, movies, etc....) when they decided Supes should renounce his American Citizenship.

Considered all the dead and wounded and missing in action, i might give this one a chance. (damn nostalgia, must get rid of it)

The whole "Basement Dwellers that lack an open mind" part of the dialogue is an Obvious Jab at the CB fans who PROTESTED against the reboot...

"Basement Dwellers that lack an open mind" Damn, that´s US!

Well, maybe we lack an open mind. but they lack consistency, organization, continuity, etc.

Reboot is a sign of laziness.

Don't you think that was obvious though?
VictorHugo

Dan Jurgens can´t complain as i paid for his daily bread in the 90´s, the proof is my shelves. :P

I think a reboot is lazy yes, ´cause the hard way is to gather a character´s continuity and keep it up, even if with "broad strokes".

Continuity is your friend, brings along complicity. for example, i had a good laugh with "" I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League‎".

@VictorHugo and that's where I think they are wrong. I don't think most people are "close minded" to changes. It's when they feel it's the wrong move, or just changing for changin, or it's done poorly (like, OMD. People always say they rather they split than Peter giving up and making a deal with the devil. or, you know, the 100 year old woman died, cos it happens).

Most characters, so far, are poorly written. Most redesigns look 90s-ish. I mean, the lines in BG's costume looks tacky. That yellow neck is terrible.

@WittySupername - I too would love to see Ted Kord back. While the new one does have his moments, Ted Kord is "Blue Beetle"!

He´s pulling a Wolverine, I bet he´s on the Outsiders, Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, Justice League, etc.

Next thing they´ll do is make Thomas Wayne a Member of the Justice Society, as BatDoctor.

Ted Kord definitely needs to come back. He is the perfect fit for this team. And Elongated Man.

The writing is childish and Contrived the Art work is boring please let the other titles be half way decent. Unless the book gets at least a new writer count me out.

@CarpesDiems shhh, don't question it. People will say you're a hater and stuck in the olden days. Because DiDio, Lee and Johns can do no wrong...

CarpesDiems - 9/5/2011, 2:43 PM
i m just saying that if they had to do a reboot do something better not the opposite.... so far the artworks are mediocre....and the writings awfull... even Jim Lee art doesn t save this reboot.Well i give one year and this reboot will be another parallel universe and we will get our real characters back again
