May look like, but since the creative team took over around issue 17 GA has been great and showed there is room for two great comic books based around an archer.

Sorrentino and Aja are worlds apart in terms if style. And the tone in this series couldn't be more different than Hawkeye.

that aside, i might have to check this book out. hope its gotten better since that 1st issue of the New 52 because that was a horrible read.

The book has been awesome since Lemire took over, he's trying to build legacy for Ollie to live up to instead of the new52 issues before Lemire where it seemed to be just random pointless missions.

In terms of it being similar to Hawkeye, both are completely different tone wise. Hawkeye is more action fun, wereas GA is more of a darker mystery story.

Lemire is my favorite writer in comics right now. GA has been amazing since he took over and I suggest that anyone who is interested to read it.
