If they put him in another movie they should get the Swede from Hell on Wheels to play him

I really loved Freeze's design but I don't like his New 52 backstory. Nora isn't Freeze's real wife? Bruce Wayne's fault for what happened to Freeze?

I liked Snyder's Freeze story and tie-in but I prefer the Heart of Ice storyline. Batman has enough villains that are crazy and we didnt need Freeze to be one of them.

Am I the only one who wishes DC would just scrap the New 52 and just go back to what worked originally? I mean... change is always eminent but seriously... some of the changes are just plain moronic and sad.

Just as with The Joker getting getting his face cut off just to strap it back on with a leather belt, I hate this redesign of villain I much loved. I hate the wisp of a mohawk and the slimmed down design of Freeze with the arms exposed to the open. Some people just don't know the phrase "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

That mohawk looks even more emo than intended.....a guy who lost his family and now he shows his rebellion by...wearing a mohawk....need some mascara too? ...fagget.

@LEVI

The problem with the Heart of Ice style is that you feel sorry for him once and later once he tries to murder everyone in the city and just continues to be an awful human being you stop being sorry for him and his whole tragedy is just an excuse for him to do all these awful things. He stops being like able and just becomes an asshole abusing his tragedy as an excuse to do what ever the [frick] he wants.

John Slatterly would make a good Freeze

I don't get it. He needs the cold suit to live. Wouldn't having his arms exposed like that be like an astronaught going onto space without sleeves? And the Mohawk makes him look like a mope.

most of the redesigns in the new 52 are shit but this is one of the better ones.

New 52 is either hit or miss. And New freeze is a definitive miss. This variation is just easier to write for, even though it completely butchered the character.

Pretty sure this is one of the best changes the New 52 has made.

GIve him his armor back and drop the dumb@$$ mohawk. Why is the new 52 so bad with the designs?

I've been a huge Mr. Freeze fan since I was a kid. It sucks to see him in comics with a new backstory that does him no justice and a new design that makes him look more punk rock than anything else. Animated series Freeze will always be the best

I prefer the Heart of Ice, animated series Mr. Freeze... Batmans villains are all insane. It was nice to have Bane, Penguin, Freeze, Firefly and at times Clayface and Croc as "Sane" villains... But Freeze now going insane just seems off to me. No longer a compassionate character...

@ Kevwebsz

I wish WB would use Batman the animated series as source material for the development of the next Batman franchise. To bad we'll never get a Batman with a naturally dark brooding voice.

So all cold themed villains now wear vests?

Jeez, the lack of creativity in DC is not only apparent but also insulting
