I never cared for Green Arrow. But the show is making me think otherwise.

This comic is very good. Just like Arrow! Green Arrow has been ramped up over the past few years.

This new creative team is good, I would say issue 17 was better than the last 16.

The show is amazing and is helping with GA's cause. This new creative team is killing it and making GA mean something again. Just don't bring back the goatee and we're happy.

Hate the artwork. Not a fan of the digital tracing crap that Andrea Sorrentino and Szymon Kudranski do.

Year One was AMAZING. The standard for Green Arrow firm now on. Sadly most other stories of Green Arrow don't live up to it.

@MJPETTY7 @MutantEquality

Awesome! I am definitely going to check it out, then. I've gotten back into Green Arrow ever since "Arrow" started.

@wingding Year one is spectacular. Great story and the art by Jock is awesome. Issue #17 was a much needed shift back to the grittier take on Green Arrow that was needed. Only one issue in and it hasn't been this good since the Kevin Smith arcs, or at least the Winnick ones from years ago. Jeff Lemiere is one of the best writers in comics right now, so I'm excited to see where he takes the character.

First of all, Green Arrow doesn't look like Hawkeye. What happened to Hawkeyes ORIGINAL Costume? I think Hawkeyes "Ultimate Costume" which I used in "NOW!" was more a rip-off of Green-Arrow until Green Arrow made alteration/changes to make it look like the "NOW!" Hawkeye. I always like Hawkeye in his Original mask/costume, right now I've fall so out of love with these I could give a shit about their comics.

Ps- Arrow is a mediocre show. There is better things on tv, Don't got time for that.

@Aiiwolf I think they mean the comic itself looks like the current Hawkeye comic not their costumes, which I somewhat agree with. The art is very similar but the tone of the comics is very different, Green Arrow looks to be going to a much darker tone than what is going on in Hawkeye right now. As for the show, I like Arrow, but it definitely has it's faults (poor characterization of villians i.e. they usually don't last more than one episode and have very little background). I'll keep watching the show unless I ever lose interest but I'm liking it so far.
