@Marxman12: The winner's aren't announced publicly because there's really no need to knock decent news stories off the main page with those types of articles (it's the same reason why we no longer publish poll results). I run 1 - 4 of these contests via DC each month and contact the winners at the beginning of the following month via Twitter or Facebook. The people who comment on this site make up a very small fraction of those who visit, so I guess that's why you don't always see a lot of talk from winners. However, the people I sent to the Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World premieres have talked about winning those contests a number of times on here and Twitter. As for me keeping the prizes, I'm sent a complimentary copy of everything I give away 99% of the time, so there would be really no need for that. :) Hope I've cleared things up for you!
