Due to low Box Office grosses, Hal Jordan is now entirely dead.
Last time it was only the destruction of Coast City.
This time could be more permanant.

It doesn't have to be an Arab but it is possible he is just of Islamic faith...

It's [frick]ing stupid that Green Lantern has a gun, but how the hell is a black guy with a gun a racist image? Is a white guy with a gun also a racist image? That's a little bit silly, isn't it? There's nothing at all racist about this cover. But it's still [frick]ing stupid that Green Lantern has a gun.

im really looking forward to this dc is really taking diversity to a new level after 4 american green lanterns and an american red lantern we finally get someone who at least im guessing is from somewhere else on earth and btw for those of u who dont know the word on his arm means "bravery". my best guess is someone from the taleban(which wud make for an amazing storyline) or a green lantern from the armed forces of an arab country

I'm surprised he doesn't have an AK-47 or an RPG lol...
Or a bomb strapped to his chest..

Why do they have to have the Arab holding a gun?
I thought the ring was enough...
[frick]ing DC -_-

i guess it cud be his signature thing like hal has precise beams, guy gardner is sparking with willpower, kilowog has really huge beams, kyle keeps changing his constructs, and john creates structures from the ground up and makes guns. im guessing the gun is gonna have a backstory and i think hes gonna be making swords and stuff. plus im not sure but he has his face almost completely covered maybe hes a known fugitive and wants to hide his identity, and again just speculating but he could be another sinestro who just wants to redeem himself once hes a member of the corps.

in fact come to think of it why is the tattoo green? did he give it to himself after getting the ring?

Question is why cover your face and highlight the tatoo?

So you can either use the weapon that is only limited by your willpower or the one that's limited by the size of the clip, clever. Next up Superman's brass knuckles.

To be part of the Lantern Corps you gotta pass the initiation then you earn your tat and become part of the brotherhood.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. What is he suppose to be? Gangster? WTF was Dc Comics was thinking allowing this cover to be published. You'd have to be blind not to see how stereotypical this comic book cover is.Why does a Green Lantern need a pistol? It's because he's black and to top it off you give him some tattoo's.
