Today, DC Entertainment's rather ambitious fundraiser surpassed its initial goal of $100 000 with 4 days remaining in the campaign. This year's 'We Can Be Heroes' fundraising campaign was entirely Superman-centric as a way to celebrate the icon's 75th anniversary.
The goal was met when, according to Indiegogo, Timothy Draper donated $25,000. The reward? A mural painted by Jim Lee himself in Draper's hometown! Other prizes that were - and some which still are - available include signed movie posters (ex. Man of Steel signed by David Goyer) and graphic novels (ex. Death and Return of Superman signed by Dan Jurgens). Another upper level prize that is still available - at the time of writing - is an exlusive dinner with Geoff Johns and Richard Donner.
