Avengers Academy has been a consistently great read from writer Christos Gage. Unfortunately, both his run and the series itself will be coming to an end this November. However, judging from his comments on Twitter (which can be seen below) there may still be room in the Marvel NOW! universe for the cast of young heroes. Newsarama reached out to Marvel for a comment and were told the following. "We have exciting plans. Stay tuned for major announcements over the next few months."

Cover BY GIUSEPPE CAMUNCOLI

FINAL ISSUE!
• End-of-an-era Series Finale!
• In the aftermath of the gruelling "Final Exam", can friendships, romances – and the Academy itself – survive?

This was a surprisingly good read. I was pretty skeptical at first, but I dig it.

OMG Noooooooo. It was the best current Avengers title... not because the others were bad, but because this book featured brand new characters that didn't need to revert to the status quo. So disappointing.

Was a suprisingly good read. I was skeptical at first too. Was recommended on Blair Butler's Fresh ink Online. Picked up 1st issue, and was hooked.

That sucks. I really liked the series, and hopefully they manage to rope some, or all, of the characters into other titles. They can bring Finesse over to the New Avengers any day of the week, that's where the fun is.
