Avengers Vs X-Men #0 and #1 are sold-out at most comic book stores, so Marvel are making a conscious effort to ensure fans can get hold of each issue as soon as possible, and they wouldn’t want to miss out on any money either.

With the date being moved forward by a considerable amount, not only will Avengers Vs X-Men #0 hit the shops on the same date as issue two, but also just a week after the second printing of issue one.

The second printing of both issue zero and one, will come with brand new variant covers. The variant cover for #0 will be by Frank Cho and the cover for #1 will be by Jim Cheung.

“We couldn’t be happier with the landmark response to Avengers VS. X-Men,” said Marvel SVP of Sales, David Gabriel. “With the incredible demand from fans and retailers alike, we are taking measures to ensure that shops get their copies immediately.”

This is great news for anyone who missed out on one of the biggest events of the year for Marvel.

Avengers Vs. X-Men or AvX is a limited series comic book crossover to be published by Marvel Comics beginning in April 2012, that involves the rebirth of the Phoenix Force, the subsequent war between the Avengers (consisting of the main team, the New Avengers, and the Secret Avengers) and the X-Men, and the emergence of a future Age of Ultron, as foreshadowed in Marvel Point One. It will be a 12-issue limited series following Avengers: X-Sanction and X-Men Regenesis story lines.

The event is preceded by Avengers Vs. X-Men #0, which will be published in March 2012. According to Marvel, Avengers Vs. X-Men is the end result of all the threads from the Fear Itself, X-Men: Schism and Avengers: The Children's Crusade stories coming together.
