Artist John Tyler Christopher has put his spin on a whole host of Marvel characters lately, releasing action figure-inspired variant covers for the likes of Secret Wars, X-Men and Star Wars, among others. ComicBook.com have our first look at the variants for Hercules #1, Venom: Spaceknight #1 and Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #3, plus the previously-released covers for the first issues of Spider-Woman, Dr. Strange, Spider-Gwen, Ms. Marvel and Invincible Iron Man. Are you planning on picking any of these covers up?

Cool stuff

But I'm not a fan of these covers, they'd go well with GI. Joe comics though.

Artist did a good job but Venom doesn't look like Venom to me.

I hope Iron Man and Thor have Granov and Coipel variants respectively

Granov's confirmed to have an Invincible Iron Man #1 variant.



No word on Coipel yet, but he hasn't done a lot of cover work lately, so it's unlikely.

@Benjamitesandwich It's kinda OP. Tony can transform the suit into any of its previous versions (as long as they were preprogrammed in before the fight).

Cool I actually remember seeing that Granov variant, don't know how i forgot about it.

I got back into comics when Coipel and JMS were starting on Thor and Ellis and Granov were on Iron Man.

Would love to see them back with characters. They also got me back into drawing. Marquez is cool but I'm not sure he's best for Iron Man, even on Ultimate Spider-man I think Sara Pichelli was the better fit.

If I had the money I'd also love to see an Adam Hughes Hathaway Catwoman and Gadot Wonder Woman.

Man, Marvel Comics lately are just so lame, they all seem to have the same bland art style and uninspired character designs. Wish we could get a return to form.
