SILK #1
Robbie Thompson (writer) Stacey Lee (artist)
Dave Johnson (cover) Stacey Lee (variant)

ON SALE: 02/18/2015 PRICE: $3.99

Cindy Moon exploded out of her bunker and into the Marvel Universe when we first learned that she had been bitten by that same radioactive spider in the first arc of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. She then went on to save Peter Parker’s life (more than once!) and traverse the Spider-verse alongside Spider-Woman. Now, as SILK, Cindy is on her own in New York City, searching for her past, defining her own future, and webbing up wrong-doers along the way! Robbie Thompson (writer from TV’s Supernatural) fills this new ongoing series with his unique blend of antics and feels. Featuring stunning covers by Eisner Award winner Dave Johnson and interiors by future superstar Stacey Lee.

Say what you will, but I'm glad that they are trying to find a way to get younger girls involved by providing heroes they can relate to.

I wonder how spidey carries around that lunch bag and soda?? do you think he just like stashes food on a rooftop in the morning then around lunchtime swings by and grabs it?? or just have stashes of food all over the city?? shits mind bending.

Garbage. This is garbage.
Doesn't anyone realize how they are diluting the uniqueness & originality of Spider-Man by have yet another "spider" based character??
This is madness. Plus, the costume design is crap.

@Cles it wasnt creepy sounding at all until you said it did lol

@sameoldthing your username says it all. get wit the times bro. also im not sure if trolling or what but that seems like a trolling effort if I ever seen one. Having more characters relating to Spider-man does not dilute his uniqueness in anyway. just do not read this comic. do not read spider-gwen (who I think is an awesome character), ect. imo bring on the "Spider based characters"!!

@dethpillow Venom (not so much anymore), Carnage (kind of dead as far as I know) (well you can stretch it to include any symbiote I guess), isn't Iron Spider now worn by another person making him a new hero unto himself? ummmm...I feel like there are a lot more characters like Spider-man out there still active. At least I did when I started making this pathetic list lol

I Like Silk. Her costume is pretty awesome imo. Plus anytime my good ol' pal Peter Parker gets some action is fine with me. Let him get that Spidey pussy all he wants. "Thwip thwip thwip!" if ya kno what I mean. eh? eh? ya kno? eh?

@dethpillow Whoa whoa whoa, why am I an idiot? I was not attacking you in anyway shape or form. I certainly didnt say anything to warrant being called an idiot. You can not expect me to know you wrote a comment that was deleted before I even came onto this article. All I saw was you typing a list of "spidey like characters" and all I was doing was adding to your list, villain or not. There is no need to attack me for doing so. I think you are the idiot for expecting me to know what would help or hinder your argument with someone else when there is no longer a comment for me to see or know wtf your actually talking about. sorry man, I didnt mean to hurt you. btw the only current villain I listed was Carnage really and he technically died a hero.

@dethpillow its cool man, im not here to be an asshole or hate on anyone or anything. im here cause I love anything comic book related and the comment sections on this site seemed more fun then other sites. I was more confused by your comment than anything. you dont deserve hate ever so dont worry there. just be careful where you shoot your anger cause it could get messy depending who you hit lol
