okay i like Hyperion more now. i don't care if he is a superman rip off, because there are some other characters who are superman's rip off which doesn't really matter.

i don't see these superman like characters as complete rip offs,of course there is a lot of things that are similar but i see them more as a homage to superman & every comic company on the planet wants their version of superman.

@TankD: Interesting theory. But I've got to give Marvel some credit here, we all assumed (most of us, anyway) that Peter would be back in the saddle by now. Unless we hear some major protests from fans, he might be in Pete's head for a while longer.
