really loved Ultimate Marvel until Ultimatum and Loeb came along (though Ult. X-Men had gotten stale since Millar left). Jimmy Hudson's definitely one of the worse results of post-Ultimatum Utl. Marvel.

Ultimate Spider-man is still good and Ultimate X-men is pretty solid. Might give this a shot.

I like the Ultimate universe for the most part. I wonder who Logan knocked up. Should make for a good story.

"Where's Wolverine been lately?"
"We killed him years ago, where have you been?"
"You killed the most popular character in comics? No wonder no one reads Ultimate anymore, bring him back"
"But he's dead"
"Figure something out"

What's up with Wolverines right arm in the first pic? It's turned in to his body way too far judging by the position of his forearm.

And who knows, Scott's probably the mother.

Jimmy is a really un-intimidating looking Wolverine.

i don't know which character came first, but instead of this B.S. Jimmy Hudson, the story would have been much more interesting if Ult. Wolverine's son was Dakken, raised right instead of his corrupt 616 counterpart. Dakken was one of the few "son of" storylines that worked well.

For those of you who don't like handsome Hugh Jackman, would you prefer that fugly guy on the cover? If I want to spend two hours staring at an ugly face I can go to my in-laws' for dinner. *rimshot*

Actually, it looks to me like old-school Beast colored wrong. Art Adams is still awesome, though.

i hate the ultimate universe post millar it used to be gritty adult oreinted now its bright colors and no coherent stories

there motto is anything can happen like wolverin could be the father and the mother! or spiderman could die and a black spiderman can replace him ( im black dont worry ) but this is just garbage

I love the Ultimate Universe, but I can understand how some could hate it (especially after Ultimatum). However, these new series are really good. Especially Ultimate Comics X-Men. Jimmy is actually a really great character if you read into him. He is in no way the traditional Wolverine, nor is he supposed to be. He is what he is, a recently orphaned teen/20 year-old who finds out his whole life (though a seemingly happy and fulfilling one) has been a lie. He finds out that he is a mutant and the son of the most recognizable mutant, Wolverine, at the worst possible time. He has no idea who he really is, how he fits in, or what he should do - but he loves Kitty and he is proud to be a mutant. I think this series will be great since it gives him a chance to find who he really is.
