Not really caring about the comic, so will not comment. I just wanted to comment about her costume. I bet if she were to appear in the Avengers movies, she would wear this instead of the much more revealing outfits.
NOOOOOOOOOOO! KHAAAAAAAN!

The artwork is a bit sluggish but other than that what Kelly sue Deconnick is doing with the character is pretttttttyyyyy awesome

the new suit looks cool and i'm just hoping this push to the forefront is a step towards her eventual movie

Was the artist drunk when he drew this?

captain marvel is exceptional, i like how they changed the art style actually. it's a modernized retro look. the story line is good.

With that new costume, whenever she appears on the page (especially in Avengers books drawn by Dustin Weaver) she just demands attention. She looks like a superhero instead of a joke.
Always thought the costume needed to reflect her persona more, and this really fits. glad she has the "captain" in the name as well, its well deserved. Really hope she pops up in the MCU at some point, a strong female presence is sorely needed.

I WAS a fan of Ms. Marvel. This series changed all that.

Only commenting on this because I really like the art on the variant cover.

The other art is subpar, and the inking on the interior pages is horrible. Spider-Woman's face looks awful, as does Carol's hair. More detail and definition in that hair would make it look a lot better.

I'm so looking forward to this. Looks awesome! :D Except that variant cover that has a dumb pose! :p
