Awesome cover. The art seems to be a pretty hit and miss with this series. Still this art is good, not great, not epic, but still good.

That's the art of Arther Adems!! He took away the spikey claws on wolverine and made them blades for the first time!! Classic X-Men Number one. The guy's an ass hole but he's a A class artist in the game! RESPEST!!

8th Colossus is the new welder of the Cytorak gem and the powers of the Juggernaut. I am looking forward to this whole event because it does pose some interesting questions. Who will Beast fight with? He is a Secret Avenger and an X-Man! Who will Wolverine choose? His ties with Scott have been strained beyond repair forcing him to leave Utopia! Why are their images on other covers of Archangel? Warren Worthington III is a blank slated student at the school. Why doesn't Red Hulk have a mustache? Hopefully a lot of these questions will be addressed in this event!

Is Cyttorak Colossus the full powered Juggernaut or the recently de-powered Juggernaut?

Also, wouldn't having the power of the Juggernaut make Colossus' organic steel kinda irrelevant? Once you are invulnerable the physical damage you really can't improve much.

Is anyone else thinking this is going to just mutants vs. every other hero/villain in marvel where there trying to get to Phoenix and with the death of people in the stories marvel is only trying to reduce the number of people in there universe because we all know there overstocked on characters.

It makes absolutely 0 sense for Wolverine to fight with the Avengers, despite his relationship with Cyclops. He has literally decades of relationships with some of the X-Men. Do you think he's gonna fight against one of his ONLY friends in the world in Colossus? Other than Captain America and Storm, he has zero ties to the Avengers as far as working relationships go.

What I honestly imagine is going to happen is that T'Challa is going to return and instead of choosing a side, he's gonna try and be the REAL mediator (given that his wife is apparently on the X-Men side, as well as Gentle, he would be a good mediator with Storm at his side). We'll see Wolverine vs Bannulk as well, so it won't be so one sided.

Cable figures out a way to take the Pheonix Force from Hope and transfers it to Rachel Summers who then sacrifices herself with Cable's help by transporting back to her own dimension. Jean Grey returns from the "death" of the Pheonix.

i also think that since marvel has come under so much fire lately for "comic book deaths", that there will be several deaths of minor characters and one major character, and they'll stick, at least for a few years, ala colossus
