Does anyone even read the Avenging Spider-Man?

People complaining that Spidey didn't make a quip, and the busted villain chimes in "It was weird" - LOL! It's like he gave a perfect set up, bc he said "No one throws Copperhead" and Spidey chucks him into a pole, but Spidey was too busy to come up with something.

I read Avenging Spider-Man. It's a pretty solid comic. Even if we haven't had the Joe Mad that we were promised when it was announced...

Why are we complaining? Avenging Spider-Man is probably the best marvel one-shot collection that epitomises on the web-head's interactions in the MU.

love this book even though I read a couple of issues like the first two, and the captain america one.

But I thought Joe Mad was returning for another issue

No thanks, I'd rather just read Amazing and Ultimate.

Never heard of steve dillon till his arc on the incredible hulk (I think). Totally made me drop the book. Not a fan, at all.

Steve Dillon only did the art for #8. Issue 9 and onward was a much better artist. Jason Aaron is writing the arc.

Steve Dillon is a decent artist but simply doesn't work with Marvel comic book characters. Everyone looks like crap and like they have some facial deformities. The fact that he made the Hulk look like a football player in green pain shows how wrong he is for these types of comics. I was honestly looking forward to this issue of Avenging Spiderman but alas I will not be reading it.

Too bad the comics are going to refer to this issue.

I LOVE Joe Mad's art. But if you know anything about Joe Mad, you know he's notorious for not being able to complete ANYTHING on time...EVER....and sometimes even walking away from a project right in the middle of things.
Joe Madureira is easily one of the most talented artists in the biz...sadly, he's also one of the least reliable.

I love that retroish art style it looks great, but did anyone else notice in those panels on the previously in spiderman page that uncle Ben sure did like to touch Peter haha kiddin , but hell Peter admits in the comics that was molested as a child though I don't remember by whom

Why does Peter look like a deformed Ryan Seacrest in that last page?
