COMICS: First Look At Eddie Brock As Toxin On VENOM #33 And #34 Covers

Many fans still aren't happy that Eddie Brock is no longer Venom, but it should come as something of a relief that he is set to take on the villainous persona of Toxin! Thanks to this sneak peek at the covers of Venom #33 and #34, we get to see his new look a little early.

Eddie Brock was unwillingly bonded with the Toxin symbiote back when Rick Remender was writing Venom, but he's set to look quite a bit different in a new arc by current scribe Cullen Bunn this April. As we saw on the final page of this week's Venom #30, Eddie is back to his murderous ways and seems to have a much better handle on the alien suit now. Below are the covers and solicitations for the issues which will go on sale in a few months time (the first of which pays homage to a Todd MacFarlane Amazing Spider-Man cover that slips my mind). The should have made the eyes the same as the Venom costume, not with those little eyes but with the huge one.

I hated that Anti-Venom negated Spiderman's powers. Any character that negates or takes away someone's powers sucks imo.

I actually liked him as Anti-Venom. This feels like a giant crap on all the progress he's made in the past few years. Love the Venom series, but this is the weakest link thus far. With that said, I do like the design, but there should be more black.

Dang, guess I'm the only one who's not a big fan of the design. Maybe if the black was darker or something, but he looks too much like Carnage for me. In stature, not so much, but scary monster facial structure and stuff is pretty similar.

Isn't Toxin meant to have a little blue on him? Plus, I don't see the grandfather of Toxin taking him on. If Venom alone can't beat his son than how can he beat his grandson? Unless he has one hell of a trick up his sleeve.
