I'm a huge DD fan and am personally excited for this new story. DD in cali. Bring on the haters who complain about comics being the same for years and years but then also hate when they try something new haha

@Nomis

If it's not a reboot, what's the big problem? It's just a number

If Archie Comics did a Daredevil comic, it would look just like this.
Marvel Comics needs to just close down and do reprints.
Chris Samnee should be working at a Burger King or bagging groceries.

I'm okay with DD being in California. Although we probably won't see a DD and spidey team up for a while since they're in different states now :(

Seriously, like Nomis said, just a cheap gimmick by Marvel. Like it makes no sense otherwise.

Always loved Daredevil but this run is annoying! I read the first 2 volumes at the beginning of Waids run and it was so weakkk!!

They used to write beautiful, dark stories for Daredevil. And its cool that they are experimenting, but its still going?

Boooo

I really could care less if it's #1, #37, #170, #549 I stopped looking at the numbers years ago. I collect his book because of how well it's written (not to mention it's the only superhero that unleashes my inner fanboy) and Daredevil has been solid for a very long time. I'm confident he could be moved to any city and the stories would still be nothing short of spectacular. Moving him to the west coast just means more encounters with the Punisher. Can't wait.

On a side note, I think they should have made his new city Seattle. It just fits his character so well.... plus it would be nice to read about a superhero from the same city I live in..

Yea DD is my fav character and I'm ready for him to go back to his darker stories. Plus I hate Samnee's art.

I preferred the dark stories as well, but he was basically shat on for a decade so the last 3 years really didn't bother me. It was time for him to catch a break.

@Redmast I've liked the art direction as well, it has a retro feel to it.

@ CrimsonFlash

Point one: After the Fantastic Four, Daredevil is and has been might favorite hero for a very long time.

Point two: SEPARATE from point one – there must be a halfway point between complaining about comics being the same for years and years and years . . . AND celebrating the changing of art teams and rebooting every six months. Yes, BOTH of the previous characterizations are exaggerations. But somewhere there DOES exist a middle point.
