I'm not a fan of Aja's style of drawing either but that doesn't mean it's bad. It's just not for me. Brett Booth is more my cup of tea.

The art is very cool! Very Independant-esque, seems to fit Hawkeye very well, and the cover artist, B-E-A-UTIFUL!

i hate hawk eyes new look its terrible he looks just like RED ARROW/ SPEEDY,.. except with purple glasses always loved him with the mask and with the full purple suit..I WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD IF U CHANGE CERTAIN ASPECTS OF COLOR IN THE FULL COSTUME HE WAS WEARING.. BUT THIS SUCKS

@RedHood89, that doesn't make sense, that's like saying you can't hate on a movie because you couldn't make a movie of equal quality or better. You don't have to be able to do something to have an opinion on it, do you think any art critics know how to draw? For the most part no, but they have the knowledge about art that allows them to make cognitive opinions.

The first issue was so good. And that graffiti of the circle with the arrows keeps popping up.. hmm..

I like the inks. Color is too flat and boring to me. Coloring a single page of this probably took 5 minutes tops. Not impressed.

any one who understands art will love what they have done in that page. Sure its a different style and theres nothing wrong with it. It feels so vector and suits hawkeye much better. I bet all of you haters dont even know how to hold a pencil, let alone draw.

The artist(s) should do more research on how you "Should" hold a recurve bow or in general. You don't grip the Riser with a Full grip like Hawkeye is displaying. Having a full grip on the Riser makes for a more inconstant shot and thats not good.

Besides that tidbit, I liked the first issue.
