I've enjoyed this series so far. Not nearly the amount of inconsistent quality in story that so many books seem to suffer from. Hope we see more of the Supernatural-Avengers world someday.

Early on I really enjoyed this series, I feel like it started going down hill after "Fear Itself". Steve Rodgers leaving and Venom joining just made me lose most interest.

I'm not a mind reader so what you said is less than worthless to me.

I am really NOT liking Uncanny Avengers but enjoy most his other work. I'll be interested to see how Secret Avengers vol2 plays out...

Hawkeye looks terrible on the cover, but that interior art is amazing.

Bandido Cap is currently awesome. It's not for everyone but it has the old sci fi swashbuckler tone to it. It's great IMO. Plus it has a lot of Steve before super solder, which is fantastic to read.

Yet another writer in another series that took a giant steaming dump on Marvel's first ever super hero. One would think that being the publishers first hero and on the cover of the very first comic book they ever published would entitle the character of the Human Torch to get just a little respect but all Marvel has ever done with him since the Golden Age is treat him like a throw away. He's been burnt out, disassembled, put in stasis, left inactive, disassembled again, and pretty much suffered every other kind of abuse you can heap on a character for the better part of 50 years now. Will they ever treat their "Superman" with even an ounce of the respect his place in history merits?

Probably not.

I began reading Secret Avengers because the Original Human Torch was joining the team. An interview with Remender made it sound like he was going to be a valued member of the team. Now he is fighting against them.I agree that the Human Torch is not given the respect his character deserves. This whole storyline deals with androids and we were left to believe he would play a big part of the story (which makes sense), but he hardly appears at all. Are they going to "kill" (deactivate, taken apart, etc.)him again? In Avengers/Invaders and The Torch limited series with Dynamite, Alex Ross showed some of the potential the Torch has! Does Marvel respect one of their first heroes less than an artist from another company? There are more than one Green Lantern, there can be more than on Human Torch. The Torch has a loyal fan base. Build on it, don't crush it.

Whew! I've been wanting to say that for a while. Will the Torch exist beyond S.A. #37? I hope so, but...
