this shouldn't get cancelled at all. its an awesome comic. if scarlet spider wasnt gonna be in the new warriors book in march this series wouldve kept on going.

I'll miss this series. Kaine a fun character and they've told some good stories. Wish Marvel cared more about keeping it's lower tier characters important. If character like Kaine and Agent Venom only have short lived series and spots on some teams, they'll never be icons.

I'm a huge fan of Kaine, but this book was living on borrowed time. The art was boring, the stories went nowhere, loads of boring supporting cast members. They were wasting the character. They haven't even done anything with the Other storyline and it's been 6 months. At least he tripped on over to the Microverse for a bit, because that was the only time this book got interesting.

Scarlet Spider in Dubai or Hong Kong would be great. This series is awesome but branching outside of the US would be a great way to branch out.

Love this run. Kane will be fine in The New Warriors WARRIORS REBORN! Adventurers SPEEDBALL and JUSTICE have come together with a group of young heroes including NOVA, SUN GIRL, and HUMMINGBIRD (and even a couple of new faces) to stop the latest threat to the Marvel Universe—the Atlanteans, Inhumans, clones and hundreds of other so-called "superior" beings are living among the humans of the Marvel Universe, but not everyone is pleased about it. THE HIGH EVOLUTIONARY has raised an army to combat the evolution of humanity – and the New Warriors are locked in his sights! I buy this one. Well I buy everything with webslingers in it.

Scarlett Spider is the best Spider title out today and their cancelling it...typical. Just like a good TV show (firefly) they cancel it before it can reach it's true potential. I don't want Kaine to be part of the New Warriors, they title alone says cancelled before it gets launched. He deserves to be the new Superior Spider-Man if they refuse to bring back Peter Parker. Disagree or agree I care less.

Scarlet Spider was an excellent book. It's sad to see it go. It sucks that Kaine is only going to appear in New Warriors. That was an absolutely terrible title in the 90's and I can't imagine it's going to be any better once the new one is out. Unfortunately, I think we'll rarely see Kaine because I doubt the New Warriors comic will last all that long. They did great character development for him and took him in an awesome direction. I'll keep my fingers crossed he doesn't get shelved for years. This is really too bad. Hopefully we'll see Scarlet Spider volume two in the future.

I wouldn't worry. Kaine is a great character, if new warriors doesn't last then they will stick him in an Avengers title. It would be a way to have Spider-Man on the Avengers without having Spider-Man on the Avengers. Win win.
