@GOZILLRA He looks a lot better here than in his team-up with Captain America. I'm digging this look and the art. I wouldn't say the lining was computer generated, but they might have overdone the colouring a bit.

Sweet. Revolvong artist and writers will give the book a fresh feel for each story arc. Bring on McGuiness and Crain.

I don't like the change of costume wich I'm sure was done so when people see the avengers movie they won't wonder why he wasn't wearing a mask in the movie

I would buy it if greg land wasn't drawi- oops I mean tracing it If you look up greg land on google just greg land on the images the second row fifth picture is the one on the cover but it isn't hawkeye.... I hate how people allow him to get away with plagiarism and tracing...

I for one really like the new Hawkeye. Simple, modern, and homage to the old suit, and still very clearly a super hero outfit. Not just miltary duds or some crap like that

I love how in every promo art pic for The Avengers, Hawkey's arrow is always on the wrong side of the bow LOL

Anyone who's ever participated in archery knows you line the arrow up on bow on the side of the hand you pull back with if you draw back with your left hand, the arrow should be on the left side of the bow. As is, the second he lets go that arrow's going to slice to the right.

That aside, still super-psyched for The Avengers in May. I don't typically throw around words like "epic" but..yeah, that [frick]er's gonna be EPIC.

LoudLon: I don't know who you learned from but the arrow usually goes to whichever side of the bow your gripping hand is on. It is done this way so you can have a clear view down the arrow with the opposite eye ( closest to the arrow on your pulling side), for sighting it in.

Hawkeye needs an update for the 21st century, and I'm not talking about his uniform. Arrows are not enough anymore, not when you are in EARTHS MIGHTIEST! Can't they give him some alien tech, an enchanted bow, or something? How many arrows can he fit into that little quiver anyway? And I agree with LoudLon, the artist seriously messed up the angle on his arrow line. Just give him some cool future tech and let him go to town on the shooting gallery already! The arrows are too much! or not enough, depending on your viewpoint. Geez, and this is coming from a guy with "archer" in his username LOL
