@bbarber2323..........well if you've read ORIGIN and seen the movie. you'll know that they grew up together and were from the same biological father. Although Logan was raised by a different father

@BatmanCanFly

They're not stepbrothers. You're thinking of Dog, who isn't actually Sabretooth.

@batmancanfly they are half brothers with the same father and again it isn't Victor Creed but early on there was speculation that him and Dog were actually the same person but that was put to rest after they said they were bringing Dog back as a villain

Chris Claremont had meant for Sabretooth to be Wolverine's father, though this was disproved by subsequent writers. Claremont, when asked what he had intended to be the relationship between Wolverine and Sabretooth, stated:

"Father and son. That's why Sabretooth always considered Logan "sloppy seconds" to his "original" / "real deal." The other critical element in my presentation of their relationship was that, in their whole life, Logan has never defeated Sabretooth in a knock-down, drag-out, kill-or-be-killed berserker fight. By the same token, on every one of his birthdays, Sabretooth has always managed to find him, no matter where Logan was or what he was doing, and come within an inch of killing him. For no other reason than to remind him that he could."[5]

In Wolverine vol. 2 #42, genetic tests performed by S.H.I.E.L.D. confirmed that Sabretooth and Wolverine were not father and son.

An interviewer asked Paul Jenkins if Dog Logan, a character from Wolverine's early life, from the limited series Origin was Sabretooth. Paul Jenkins said he had not intended it to be him, but said he would not have a problem with another writer doing it later.[6][7] At the end of the miniseries Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine it is shown that Dog and Victor Creed are not the same person, as Dog is teleported from the turn of the 20th century to the present.[volume & issue needed]

@Ha1frican yeah, I had read those books and knew that Sabretooth was always intended to be Logan's Father but the powers that be decided to change that and it turns out that they aren't related at all...although THEN they decided that there are TWO Sabretooths and that the one that we have been seeing all of these years is a clone of the original that was created by Mr.Sinister, and that the original Sabretooth IS actually Wolverine's father..so, yeah...I'm totally confused as to who he really is

I thought I knew what was up with Wolvverine, but .... yeah, I don't. I know Captain America was weapon I and Wolvie is Weapon X. But for some reason there were other Weapon X's like Sabretooth (what his augmentation???) and Dead Pool? Phantomex (awesome character) is Weapon XII Then there's something about Wolverine and Sabers being half bros, and then there's some dude named Romulus? And I think Jesus Christ was Weapon -X cause he came like waaay before Captain America. And someone had coffee with non dairy coffee creamer. Twinkies.

After a blood test carried out on the Shield Helicarrier, it was proven that Victor Creed and James Howlett, are in fact not related. James, does however have a brother who has the same number of claws as he does.
