Slightly off topic, but the panels displayed in the article reminded me; would anyone else like to see Spider-man with emotive eyes in a Spider-man movie? Personally, I would.

@PC04 I'd like to see something like that in a movie...it would have to be subtle but not too subtle so that you can't notice it. So far they've done a great making Spidey show emotions using different camera angles.
I'd like to see something subtle like this image below.

^I love that look. That's supposedly what Webb is going for in the Amazing Spider-man 2.

You are right about the camera angles. I thought the scene where Spider-man stops the car-jacker was exceptional in showing Spider-man's emotion.

I wonder how Ramos got hired by Marvel. It will probably as mysterious as how Rob Liefeld still gets work.
